Ideas for Serving

What do you serve with chicken spaghetti? I like to serve this food with fresh vegetables because it is rich and creamy. Think about a simple side salad or a Caesar salad. Any cooked vegetable works well as a side dish, whether broccoli, asparagus, beets, or something else. If you are okay with carbs on top of carbs, garlic bread is also a good choice.

How long is it Good?

After baking, this dish will be good for two to three days. Make sure to put it in the fridge and cover it well.

When you are ready to eat it again, use the microwave or make the topping crispier in the oven.

Can You Make It in Advance?

You can definitely make Cheesy Chicken Noodle Casserole the night before you plan to eat it.

You should give the baking process more time. If the cheese starts to bubble, you’ll know it’s done.

I wouldn’t add the crushed crackers until right before you put them in the oven because they will get soggy in the fridge overnight.

Is It Freezable?

Yes, chicken noodle casserole can be frozen. Let the casserole cool fully (without the cracker crumbs on top) instead of baking it. And then tightly wrap it. It can be frozen for up to three months. When ready to serve, let it thaw in the fridge overnight. Then, bake it with butter and cracker crumbs as directed in the recipe. If it’s straight from the fridge, it may need some baking time, so watch for the dish to bubble.
